Video: ‘Eric Clapton’s Crossroads Guitar Festival 2013’ Coming to Nearly 500 Movie Theaters August 13

Eric Clapton’s 2013 Crossroads Guitar Festival, which took place at New York City’s Madison Square Garden this past April, is coming to a movie theater near you on August 13.

The film version of the event — titled Eric Clapton’s Crossroads Guitar Festival 2013 — will be presented in nearly 500 theaters around the country through NCM’s Digital Broadcast Network. Tickets are available at theater box offices and at fathomevents.com.

The film features performances by Clapton, Jeff Beck, Keith Richards, Jimmie Vaughan, Vince Gill, Buddy Guy, John Mayer, Keith Urban, the Allman Brothers Band, Blake Mills, Booker T., Buddy Guy, Derek Trucks, Doyle Bramhall II, Gary Clark Jr., Gregg Allman, John Mayer, Los Lobos, Robert Cray, Sonny Landreth, Warren Haynes and more.

    Must comment on the fact that this film will NOT be distributed to any Canadian venues…and that is a complete slap in the face to all the legions of loyal Calpton fans,,who have supported him faithfully over his career ups and downs..I have spoken to the distributor and laid these comments on them as well, I mean the Who Led Zep and Bon Jovi all managed to get their concert films playing in Canada so why does this film not get an airing here..Very disappointed in Clapton his team and the distributors….

    It’s is probably not showing in Canada because Crossroads is a drug and alcohol rehab project. Everyone in Canada must be too healthy.
