According to Rolling Stone, legendary director Martin Scorsese has completed work on his much-anticipated George Harrison documentary. The film, entitled George Harrison: Living in the Material World, will first air in two parts on HBO in October and features interviews with fellow Beatles Paul McCartney and Ringo Starr, Eric Clapton, Yoko Ono, Tom Petty, Terry Gilliam, and more.

At last! Something we Beatles and especially George Harrison fans have been anticipating. My eyes will be glued to HBO those nights.
Harrison was SO UNDERRATED as a stellar and very “tasty” guitarist. Can’t wait for the doc. THANK YOU, Mr. Scorsese
It can not be Monday, no way. Great musical news abounds! It time that someone made a documentary about this early influence who may have been responsible for more people picking up the guitar than anyone else. it has been far too quiet on the project front regarding the quiet Beatle. He still puts chills up my spine! Thanks Martin Scorsese!
