I bought the premier issue, and quite frankly have not bought any since. I love Fretboard Journal; hate Guitar Player…get the jist? I want to read about guitars, builders, etc. Not some NYC chef who happens to own some guitars. And who gives a shit about vodka and cigars? They have their own magazines. And I am really put off by the fashion spread…the magazine is called Guitar Aficionado for cryin’ out loud. Now, to be fair, I read the latest issues and really liked the articles on Lindsay Buckingham, Wes Montgomery. But:
—Jason Woodbridge, viticulture’s enfant terrible, talks grapes and Gibsons.
—Dan Layus of Augustana models this fall’s hottest fashions.
    —Belgium’s newest rock-star chocolatier.
    Give me a freakin’ break.

You’ve got a great magazine. I love subject matter both about guitars and other subjects. How about an article on travel guitars for those of us who would like to bring our guitars on vacation – probably to the dismay of our wifes.
