Dead and Company Announce Summer U.S. Tour

February 10th, 2016

Dead and Company have announced they’ll tour the U.S. this summer. The group, which features three members of the Grateful Dead, will perform a series of dates throughout June and July.

The group includes former Grateful Dead members Bob Weir, Mickey Hart and Bill Kreutzmann, along with guitarist John Mayer, former Allman Brothers Band bassist Oteil Burbridge and keyboardist Jeff Chimenti. The band grew out of the Grateful Dead’s Fare Thee Well concerts held last summer and includes all of the surviving members of the Grateful Dead except for bassist Phil Lesh.

Tickets for the new shows go on sale February 12 via Live Nation. Pre-sale event at Dead and Company’s website begins today.

Grateful Dead were my favorite Band see songs New potato Caboose Anthemn of the sun and Eyes of the world 10/19/1974 worthy!!!! plus there spacey jams,Garcia had it down Nicely!!1972~1974 Era in my oppinion is primo and 1976 sweet,1980~1982,1985,1987~1989,1989 being the last truly high packed energy concerts with clarity 1990 was pretty polished, but 1991 to 1994 hit and miss,1995 was pretty much a disaster with scattered audio gems there you have it.
